I had my glucose screening test this week and I’m so relieved I don’t have gestational diabetes!
Geez, the test takes forever. In a prego forum I frequent, ladies in other countries say it only takes one hour for the basic test. Then, if you’re not ok, you have to take a three-hour test.
Well, I guess they do it differently here because the basic test takes THREE AND A HALF FREAKING HOURS!!! I was in the hospital the whole morning, starving, since I couldn’t eat anything since midnight. Anyway, I’m so glad I’m all okay. =)
Online baby shopping
I finally bought Sophie some clothes. They were having a clearance sale at Hartstrings (www.hartstrings.com) and I got all the stuff at 50-70% off! I also can’t believe I’m buying clothes for spring/summer 2010, but heck, since they’re on sale, might as well.
Here are the cute little outfits I got. Of course, the vanity in me also got the little cardigans to match the dresses:

My prego outfit
At 27 weeks … a friend sent me this dress and it’s so comfy!

Until my next post … take care!

pretty mommy! cute outfits, too. when my boys were younger, i used to buy their clothes up to two years in advance!! i had to stop doing that since they started individualizing their sense of fashion. (sigh) they still look to me for approval, though, whenever they pick their clothes. but then again, they only just turned 7 and 8. time flies!… even though the first couple of weeks will seem like eternity!!! make the most of what you can while you can.
Thanks Sarah! I’m scouting for more online sales for baby clothes and then thinking of going to the boutiques to get winter coats and really thick clothes in a few weeks as I haven’t seen much on sale online.
I like the green cardi with the pink bon bon / roses / thingies, so cute!
You look very summery and glamorous as always, and I noticed you wear my favs, the miu miu jeweled flats! Yummy!
ps. I need a better picture / close up of that gorgeous ring of yours!!!!
